Flint Shot Coating Sand (30/50 mesh size) provides an adequate grip, reduced topcoat usage, easier to wet out with topcoat. Calculate at ½ lb per square feet per broadcast application (two broadcast applications are required). Additional aggregate may be required to accommodate for waste or loss during application, or to make coving material.
